RSPCA pictures awards shortlist announced: Lovable snaps of animals taken by Britain’s youngest photographers include things like a curious horse and some mischievous canines

Lovable snaps of animals taken by Britain’s finest youthful nature photographers have been shortlisted for awards in an RSCPA competitors – with one nominee aged just 6.

Fourteen animal pictures of pets and farm animals have been shortlisted and the winner will be made a decision by votes solid on the net by the public.

The adorable and funny visuals demonstrate pets and farm animals encountered by the young children, which includes snaps of Highland cows, pet cats and puppies – and even an alpaca.

Other entries include things like snaps of Charlie the rescue cockerel from 14-calendar year-outdated Rebekah Welby and Susie the nosy pony by Eilidh Shannon, aged 12.

The youngest to be featured on the shortlist is 6-yr-outdated Alfie Woodfine from Berkshire, who captured the snap of his lovely pup Petal immediately after she fell asleep among her teddies.

Emilia Narkevic, 13, lives in Kent, and was shortlisted for her entry – a Highland cow taking pleasure in a leafy snack.

‘This graphic is incredibly amusing as you realise that animals, such as this cow, have people just like men and women,’ she reported.

‘Even cows can delight in acquiring a very little snack and I am pretty grateful for capturing this for the reason that, even while I was hoping to get a critical and wonderful sight of an animal, you can get a hysterical and goofy aspect which produced my day!’

The People’s Option Award is now open up for voting and member of the community can opt for their favourite photographs, with the winner receiving £100 worthy of of Amazon vouchers and an RSPCA Younger Photographer Awards trophy.

Voting closes on 12 March, with the winner set to be declared on 14 March.

RSPCA photographer and awards decide, Andrew Forsyth, reported: ‘We love this component of the awards as it gives the general public the possibility to get concerned and decide their favourite image.

‘We’ve got some funny, sweet and breathtaking shots shortlisted and we’re enthusiastic to share them. I are not able to wait around to see the successful photograph!

‘The photos shortlisted for the People’s Choice Award this calendar year showcase some incredibly sense-superior pictures and a range of animals from animals, farm animals to bugs.
