Roundabout Adds Two Planet Premiere Performs, Additional to 2022-2023 Period

The works sign up for their time-opening Broadway revival of 1776, set to start out performances this tumble.

Roundabout Theatre Corporation has introduced far more productions for its 2022-2023 period, including Off-Broadway performs for The Laura Pels Theatre and entire Roundabout Underground programming for the Black Box Theatre, both at the Harold and Miriam Steinberg Centre for Theatre.

The period will feature a previously announced Broadway generation of 1776 at American Airlines Theatre this fall. With music and lyrics by Sherman Edwards, and a book by Peter Stone, 1776  is based on a principle by Sherman Edwards, directed by Jeffrey L. Site and Diane Paulus, choreography by Jeffrey L. Web site, and songs supervision by David Chase. 

1776 follows John Adams as he tries to persuade customers of the Continental Congress to vote for American independence and what the pursuit of independence will price him.
